Undergraduates will now have the same loan period as all other campus patrons of the University of Texas Libraries.
Beginning December 1, the loan duration for materials will extend from 28 days to a semester-long period, allowing students greater time to focus on learning and less on managing access to resources.
The University of Texas Libraries has launched the beta version of a new website – with a fresh new look, better organization, clearer navigation and improved information about the resources and services that users need.

On Monday, October 9, 2017, the City of Austin celebrated its first official Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The auspicious occasion also marked the launch of the newly migrated and updated Archive of the Indigenous Languages of Latin America (AILLA), a digital language archive of recordings, texts, and other multimedia materials in and about the indigenous languages of Latin America.
