When You Return Digital Methods for Managing Your Research Archive

In When You Return: Digital Methods for Managing Your Research Archive, participants will learn strategies and important considerations for organizing and working with digital and digitized research materials. We will address questions such as:

-How can you organize the digital or digitized materials that you collected in the course of your research?
-What are the best practices for managing such digital collections?
-Which digital methods would be most appropriate for your research question(s) and materials?

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own devices and any digital/digitized research materials that they have collected. This in-person workshop is intended for researchers (including, but not limited to, students, faculty, and staff) who are currently conducting research or who recently completed the research phase of their projects.

This workshop is the follow-up to the spring 2025 workshop, Before You Go: Preparing for Archival Research & Digitization. Participation in the past spring semester workshop is not required for attendance.
