Researchers are increasingly under pressure to publish data at the end of a funding cycle and when research findings are released because of funder requirements. However, sharing data alone does not ensure reproducibility. Data must be properly documented and packaged so others can access, understand and reuse it.
In this virtual session, participants will learn best practices for publishing open data. Topics include:
- Using a documentation template
- Creating and managing file formats and codebooks
- Identifying appropriate data repositories and understanding what does and does not qualify as a repository
