Generative AI raises copyright questions at every stage of the creative and research process. This online workshop will help you explore practical and ethical approaches to using AI in teaching, research, publishing, and creative work.

You'll learn how generative AI tools use copyrighted content as inputs, examine authorship and copyright considerations for AI-assisted works, and explore best practices for documenting and disclosing AI use in scholarly work. The session will also highlight when and how to seek additional guidance when working with AI tools and copyrighted content.
