
Join us Thursday, April 3, from 6-8 pm for the 23rd annual ¡A Viva Voz! celebration of U.S. Latino/a/x Culture, hosted by the Benson Latin American Collection.
Featuring special guest Dennis Medina, former librarian and newsletter editor for the Gay and Lesbian Hispanos Unidos (GLHU), Austin Latina/o Lesbian and Gay Organization (ALLGO), and the National Latino/a Lesbian and Gay Organization (LLEGÓ)
Dennis Medina will be in conversation with professor Lilia Raquel Rosas, Department of Mexican American and Latina/o Studies, to discuss the importance of his archival record for furthering scholarly research.
The event is co-sponsored by Latino Studies, Department of American Studies, Department of Sociology, and the Department of Art and Art History. It is free and open to the public.
