The inclusion of Open Educational Resources (OER) in a learning environment is a fundamental way for instructors to provide their students with quality, low-cost course materials. However, locating and implementing these materials can be a daunting task. Join us for an introductory training session designed to help you navigate these resources!

You’ll learn how to find and identify OER, as well as gain ideas about resource evaluation and implementation. We will algo cover best practices for both OER adoption and creation. No prior experience with OER is required!

Presenters

  • Heather Walter, Open Education Librarian, University of Texas Libraries
