Raoul Josset collection

Raoul Josset (1899-1957) was a French sculptor who immigrated to the United States in the late 1920s, lived in northern Texas and worked with Dallas architect Donald Nelson. The collection includes correspondence, personal papers, office files, job files, professional association material, newspaper clippings, printed material and photographs that document Josset's career as a sculptor from 1927-1967.

 

Raymond Everett drawings and slides

Raymond Everett (1885-1948) taught freehand drawing, painting, clay modeling and architectural history in the Department of Architecture of the University of Texas at Austin from 1915 to 1948. He also produced artwork on which he experimented with a variety of media. The collection consists of watercolor drawings documenting Everett's student work at Harvard University and slides of his book plates.

Richard P. Swallow collection

Richard Proctor Swallow is an architect, artist, and Professor Emeritus at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. He was project head and edited four publications on the environmental plan and prototype research facilities for the Buescher Science Park Project, in Smithville and Camp Swift, Texas. The collection documents his career as an architect and educator. Record types include faculty papers, student works, and architectural drawings.

Robert G. Mather papers

Robert G. Mather was an architect and educator who began his teaching career at The University of Texas, School of Architecture (UTSOA) in 1958. The Robert G. Mather papers contain manuscript material from his teaching career as a faculty member at UTSOA from 1958 to 1984, as well as a small selection of his professional papers. Record types include correspondence, course materials, writings, and presentation materials.

Robert M. Williamson papers

Robert M. "Bob" Williamson was a wholesale lumber dealer in Dallas, Texas who produced and sold house plan books containing house plans with an accompanying photograph, set of blueprints for each house, and a list of general specifications for building the houses. The collection consists copies of house plan books dating from 1919 to 1923, and tear sheets of advertisements for the plan books series.

Robert T. Renfro collection

Robert T. Renfro (1931- ) is an architect, educator, and artist. The Renfro collection includes printed material, correspondence, creative works, photographic materials, and drawings created and collected by Robert T. Renfro documenting his work as a student, architect, teacher, and artist.

Roland Gommel Roessner collection

Roland Gommel Roessner was a resident architect, professor in The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture (1948-1982), responsible for establishing the school's Professional Residency Program and early user of computers to augment teaching. This collection highlights Roessner's two careers, academic and architectural design, from 1936 to 1991. Record types include 35mm slides, scrapbooks, publications, and architectural drawings.

Roy E. Graham Papers

Roy E. Graham, an architect and educator, taught at The University of Texas, School of Architecture from 1964-1984. The majority of the collection relates to the Graham's publication on Texas historic forts, published in 1968. Record types include, manuscript material, photographs, correspondence, and reference files.

Samuel B. Zisman papers

Samuel B. Zisman (1908-1970) spent the bulk of his architectural career in private practice in San Antonio, Texas but was also involved in planning projects throughout the U.S. and internationally. The Samuel B. Zisman papers consist of professional logs, correspondence, and postcards that reveal the career of this architect, planner, and author.

Sinclair Black collection

Sinclair Black (1940-) taught design courses at The University of Texas School of Architecture and founded Austin architectural firm of Black, Atkinson, and Vernooy, specialists in individual building and urban design. The collection contains Black, Atkinson and Vernooy's project files and drawings representing projects in Austin, Texas.
