Position Title: PCL Stacks Student Associate
Department: Stacks Maintenance, UT Libraries
Supervisor: Sirius Hayes
Summary: Preparation and shelving of books in the Perry Castaneda Library (PCL).
Position is subject to renewal each semester.
Work Schedule: Hours scheduled Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Duties: Shelve, shift, shelf read, pick up & distribute books in PCL, prepare RTS (ready-to-shelve) trucks by arranging books in call number order.
Required Qualifications: UT Austin student enrolled in minimum of 6 credits for the spring 2026 semester.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous library experience.
Working Conditions: Regular indoor working conditions.
Rate of Pay: $11.00/hour
