Position Title: PCL Stacks Student Associate

Position is subject to renewal each semester.
Stacks Maintenance helps care for the physical collection in the stacks of the PCL, working to keep it neat and orderly for patrons.
Work Schedule: As arranged with supervisor, 8-12 hours/week, between hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Note: During summer session, up to 40 hours/week are available but not required.
Duties:
- Build RTS carts in call number order
- Shelve daily RTS carts on every floor
- Shift and move books to create and distribute space between shelves
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Current UT Austin student enrolled in minimum of 6 credits for the Spring 2026 semester
- Must be able to maintain a regular schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with the Library of Congress system of book organization or previous library experience

Working Conditions: Regular indoor working conditions.
Rate of Pay: $11.00
