Work Schedule:  As arranged with supervisor, between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Duties: 

  • Scanning and pulling/re-shelving and handling rare material for researchers
  • Various stacks projects and assisting the stacks manager as needed. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Current UT Austin student enrolled in minimum of 6 credits for the Spring 2026 semester  
  • Ability to climb stairs, as the rare books stacks are only accessible by narrow staircases
  • Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are preferred.

Working Conditions: Regular indoor working conditions.

Rate of Pay: $11.00
