The instructions are simple. Create a video which captures the voice of the Latino generation that served in WWII. There is a selection of 50 interviews for you to choose from. But there's one small detail. Your video cannot exceed 5 minutes. That’s 300 seconds to encapsulate the hardships of war, the effects of social change, and the efforts put forth by Latino individuals. All while showing off your impressive editing skills. FIRST PLACE WINS A FULLY LOADED MACBOOK PRO!

Why WWII? It was the period that ushered in unprecedented growth for the United States. Latinos began dismantling barriers that had held them to second-class status and they opened doors for future generations.

During a public screening, three accredited judges will critique the finalists’ work and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
