If you like your inspirational reading full of treacle, then this is the
uplifting book for you! This is not a bad light read. It is effusive in praise for
Greg Mortenson’s genius, and includes information about the recent state (2006-7) of
some Afghan and Pakistan people. Next in the sequence, by Mortenson and without the
co-author, is Stones into Schools.
