- NASA-funded project whose main resource is an Abstract Service, which includes three sets of abstracts: 1) astronomy and astrophysics, containing approximately 330,000 abstracts; 2) instrumentation, containing approximately 460,000 abstracts; and 3) physics and geophysics, containing approximately 220,000 abstracts. In addition to the Abstract Service, the ADS provides pointers to astronomical data catalogs and data archives, making data collected by NASA space missions available.
