UT Austin subscribes to the following types of information via Thomson ONE:
Research – analyst reports from investment bank, brokerage house, and research firms from 1982 to present with one week embargo [sometimes referred to as Investext]
Mergers & Acquisitions Deals - data is available for over 400,000 M&A deals, including global transactions since 1977
Equity Deals - data is available for over 80,000 equity deals, including global transactions since 1970
Bonds Deals – data lists company-specific bond transactions since 1998
Loans Deals – data is available for over 92,000 syndicated loans, including global transactions since 1982
Project Finance Deals – data is available for over 3,800 project finance deals, including global transactions since 1990
Private Equity Deals – data is available on all venture investing, buyout investing and mezzanine investing since 1969 [sometimes referred to as VentureXpert]
The following information about public companies is also available via Thomson ONE:
SEC Filings (1980s-present; includes 10K reports and other filings)
Share Ownership (current period only; summaries only)
Executives (current only; includes compensation summaries and brief biographies)
Use Internet Explorer 9. Does not work in Firefox or Chrome or on Macs. Thomson ONE uses pop-ups. Set IE to accept pop-ups from Thomson ONE before entering the database to avoid having to re-do steps.
Nor does Thomson ONE work in Internet Explorer 10 unless you add it to your Compatibility View Settings. To do so, while you are on this About page, click the Alt key, then select Tools -> Compatibility View Settings. This will open a pop-up window where you should add these 3 websites to the Compatibility View:

Then enter Thomson ONE as usual and IE10 should save your Compatibility Settings for the next time you visit.
