Recovering Lost Files
Some of the Library’s EIC Workstations have software that helps to recover lost files. This feature is only available for Microsoft Windows based workstation. It is only accessible from library workstations on campus. You need to know these things:
- You Must be using a Library Workstation on Campus.
- The Number of the Workstation
- Your EID
- Your Password
- The Name of the file
- Or some of the text from the file
The Workstation number can be found on the table next to the computer.
If your files are found they will be returned to you through email
or copied to your Library Computer.
