The Federal Depository Library Program (44 USC 19) provides for the establishment and maintenance of depository libraries and the distribution of government documents to those libraries for use by the public. The general public has free access to all depository documents, in all formats, including Internet databases and publications. The Richard W. McKinney Engineering Library on The University of Texas campus (512-495-4511) is a depository for Patent and Trademark Information.
