Two New Features in the Library Catalog – Texting and QR Codes

Finding items in the Libraries just got a little easier. On January 4, 2012, the University of Texas Libraries added two new features to the Library Catalog .
Texting -- Look for “Send via Text Message” on the right side in each Library Catalog record. Click on it to text the title, author, call number, location and status directly from the Library Catalog to your phone.
QR Codes – Look for the QR codes on the right side in each Library Catalog record. Use the QR code reader on your mobile device to capture the author, title, call number, location and status of the item.
